RENEWED HELLTROOP ATTACKS ON CROWNHEART

Dateline: 23-7-517

The re-appearance of helltroop hordes around Crownheart has caused renewed fear and panic among the city’s citizens. Another host of the demonic creatures advanced on the city from the south but were dispatched by King Dirk himself in an epic battle within sight of the city walls.

As news of the re-appearance of more of the monsters spread, people who had started to return to their homes and businesses in the city’s suburbs rushed back to the safety of the city walls.

However King Dirk and his some of his greatest heroes and closest retainers have remained on watch around the city, while centaur scouts patrol the surrounding countryside. The King’s forces quickly moved to engage this fresh wave of attackers, and the creatures were swiftly dispatched.

The city’s morale was also boosted as the famous Baroness Glaze Fierien-Aiven took the field against the Helltroops, and crowds gathered at a safe distance to see both Baroness Glaze and the King together in battle (although actually they weren’t observed to be in conversation or close proximity at any time).

The danger is not yet over though. There are reports of a further host of the creatures approaching from the south east.

“Is there no end to these Helltroop hordes?”, one emotional citizen asked our reporter.
