THE PRICE ON THE HEAD OF BARON URYEN GOES
UP AND UP
Dateline: 21-
The bounty on the head of notorious outlawed Baron Uryen d'Agrillac has gone up to
a staggering 115,000 gold pieces -
The latest additions to the already considerable bounty being offered by the King and Duchess Kubala Wildfire come from the wealthy DeBarbarac family, the Dei Vigilare and the Way of the Five Paths.
The input from the Wot5P comes after reports of clashes between Uryen’s minions from

The DeBarbarac family has added another 30,000 gold pieces to the bounty, possibly
because they see the PFLB as a threat to their plans for the development of western

“I once offered you an opportunity to admit your illness and obtain healing; you rejected my offer, and have since added threats and incitement to treason to your deeds,” said Abbott Christian DeBarbarac of Lichtenstein Abbey in a comment directed at the outlawed baron. “It is a tragedy that a great and noble house such as the house of d'Agrillac has produced... this.”
Another 5000 GP has been added by the Dei Viglare, citing Uryen’s most recent affront to royal authority, in asserting that King Dirk’s motives in visiting the castle of the vampire ‘Baron’ Tepes is that he is planning to turn himself into a vampire.
It is perhaps ironic that Uryen should be seeking to gain support by citing the popular fear of vampires, as accounts from the siege of Kerak Falcone report that his wife became one after being mortally injured in the battle.
In any event the Vampire Council were swift in denouncing Uryen (for once finding themselves in common cause with the DV). “You are an enemy of the kingdom of Bereny. Therefore, you are an enemy of the vampires in The Council I represent,” declared VC representative Count Kain.
Uryen has announced the ‘outlawing’ of key members of the Wot5P, who have apparently been leading the attack on his stronghold in the Spirit mountains, although the Crown was quick to issue its own statement making it clear that the individuals involved were most definitely not outlaws.
