HELLTROOP TERROR CONTINUES

Reports of casualties continue to be received from the area around Crownheart as the terror brought by the arrival of the demonic hordes known as Helltroops continues to grip the area. However a glimmer of hope has been brought to the beleaguered city by reports that King Dirk has returned to the capital and intends to lead a counterattack against the monsters personally.

Although there has been no official statement from the Royal Palace, rumours that King Dirk has been seen in the city have swept Crownheart.
Meanwhile Chrystal Mantra, 1st Deputy of the Way of the Five Paths, called on all their members in the Homeward area to make their way towards Crownheart to ‘access the truth of this matter and act in the appropriate manner’.
“After a long discussion between Lady Stormpath and myself about the WOT5P official position, our answer is simple,” Chrystal told the Bugle. “Both of us feel that the Guild is clear on the position of demons. I rely on the WOT5P’s members already on the scene to act as they see fit.”
Casualties in Crownheart’s suburbs have been fewer than previously, but largely because everyone left alive has now either fled the area, taken refuge within the city, or barricaded themselves into the more substantial buildings. Some Helltroops were seen attempting to tear down the walls of one of the more substantial inns on the Lionel Road, presumably in an attempt to reach people hiding within it, but appear to have failed to gain entry.
There are still some who have been caught in the open however. Master Trader Pontius Goltari’s small trade caravan was attacked as it departed from the Crownheart Trade Post. “For the love of the Gods, what are these helltroops? Damn them back to hell! One of my guards gave his life to protect me and the others,” Master Goltari told us. “The helltroops seem to have moved on, perhaps content with his blood for the time being. But I need to act fast. My driver is hurting bad. The question is, where do I go? I see more of those fiendish beings to the northwest and southwest. What a mess.”
