INTREPID EXPLORERS REACH FABLED ‘GOLDEN COAST’

Explorers from the White Tower have succeeded in journeying to the fabled land to the east of the Frontier, known as the Golden Coast. Until now this land has been known to exist only from vague rumours and from the tales of a few travellers from it who have reached Bereny.
To its west the Golden Coast borders the jungles of Frontier, from which it is said to be separated by a range of mountains. To the north it is said to border the extreme east of the Empire of Kyr. But to its east is an endless expanse of water whose dimensions are unknown, and which is reputed to stretch to the very ends of the World.
A White Tower spokesman told the Bugle, “Following many months of travel and exploration, Knights of the White Tower have established connections from the Frontier to the land known as the Golden Coast, and from there to Kyr. Based on this and the arrival of Tower contingents in the Golden Coast, we approached the Royal authorities for permission to begin recruitment to the White Tower from the region, an area that has no central authority. This met with official approval and this very day the first Knights of the Rose have been officially enrolled there. Duke Ephraim Stryker, Lord Commander of the White Tower, has sent his personal congratulations to the exploration teams and to our new recruits in this distant land.
We are therefore open for applications to join our organization from Berenian emigrants as well as select local folks who wish to be part of the White Tower. We have received an number of expressions of interest so once we have a sufficient number we will understand how we may further support our members and the aims of our Guild in this land.”
