BLACK TOWER NECROMANCER ACCREDITED AS AMBASSADOR TO DERWENT

The necromancer Ronan, deputy leader of the Necromancer Guild the Black Tower, has been officially accredited as Bereny’s ambassador to the Province of Derwent.

Additionally, the Derwentian authorities have granted the ambassador an area of land within the province to serve as a diplomatic enclave and embassy. This is believed to be close to the exits from the passes through the Spirit Mountains between Bereny and Derwent on the Derwentian side.

Ambassador Ronan himself is reported to be in Derwent City where he has been actively engaged in helping the local authorities to restore and reclaim the city. In the aftermath of the plague that wiped out the entire population of the city except those who fled outside the walls, the city is rumoured to have become over-run with undead monsters, and Ronan’s particular expertise has been invaluable in pacifying it and enabling the official Derwentian government to regain a modicum of control of their own capitol.

Derwent is ruled by a number of so-called ‘Great Houses’ with the foremost of these, House Dreshkar, being the ruling one.

The appointment has been handled in a fairly low key manner by both the Berenian and Derwentian authorities. When asked to comment the official Derwentian envoy in Crownheart, Sybil Malgrave Riven, said “This appointment had been made to foster increased understanding and co-operation between Derwent and Bereny, and promote peace and harmony between our two nations.”

Meanwhile the ambassador has announced that he will shortly be hosting an official dinner in the new embassy to mark the occasion.
