COUNT KAINEN SLAIN BY LORD CRUSADER

It has been reported from the Castle of Count Kainen that the ancient vampire count has finally been destroyed.
This isn’t the first time that it has been claimed that Count Kainen has been destroyed, but this time the claim comes from the Lord Crusader of Shanna, Lady Faile.
Bereny’s other most famous vampire count, Count Hellstrom, had previously claimed to have destroyed Kainen, but after its vampire minions slaughtered almost all the adventurers in the castle, it reappeared in the form of a monstrous vampiric dragon.
“At last I have ended forever the reign of evil of the vampire dragon that is Count Kainen,” Lady Faile reported to the King. “His vampire minions lie scattered in pieces around me, no match for the wrath of Shanna. As well as laying to rest an ancient evil I hope that this may end the 'Final solution' believed to be being brewed up by the minions of Lexor in this castle.”
Sadly Lady Faile’s force of crusaders did not escape without casualties. The crusaders Jeraldine L'Amoreuse of the order of Bethseline and Jessamine Lo Verde of the order of Shanna died, along with their squires, at the hands of Kainen’s minions.
The King was quick to send Lady Faile his congratulations on her victory, describing it as a “fine achievement in anyone's book”.
Kainen’s ‘final solution’ is reputed to be some form of disease, and Lady Faile and her crusaders are now reported to be searching the castle for any further information about this or more evidence that Kainen was in league with Lord Lexor, or even better a cure for the disease.
